We have made our own laundry detergent for years. It's been fun to do with the grandkids and with my kids when they were little but it's also really really good laundry detergent. I learned how to make this from Mary and at the beehive cottage years ago. It's cheaper than the store-bought because you use less use 1 tablespoon for a regular load and 2 to 3 if it's a heavy soil load it smells really good and if you have sensitive skin it's really good for sensitive skin. My daughter is sensitive to laundry detergent and this one she really liked so now that she's an adult with kids of her own she continues to make laundry soap.
