I found the cute wire bins a few years ago at Walmart and I thought they were perfect for my sewing cottage. They come in 2 sizes so I go some for the shelves about my sewing machine.
I put tags on them for labels to write what is in each basket. I would rather the baskets become my catch all rather than the shelves. Plus it hides the mess and looks nicer.
I think it looks perfect in the armoire that holds the large baskets. This is where I store my fabrics. The labels are marked with colors.
All large pieces of fabric, such as pieces for backings, go on the top shelf. I have enough room to slide a few things in-between but I don't put much in between.
Not only are the very useful but they looks soooo cute.
