Sewing Space

Do you have a favorite sewing table? Or a spot you love to sew in?

I have a few places to sew and love all of them. I think it important to love you sewing space.

It help you to be not only comfortable but more creative.

I have the above table in my quilt shop with my featherweight in it. I love this little machine and it perfect to have in the shop. After I log in inventory I will usually will spent time sewing in here on some easy quilting.

I like to have more than 1 machine set up in my sewing cottage and this is where I put up an extra machine. I love my dream box and the table being able to be adjust for sitting and sewing or standing and cutting.

One of the best investments I have made is this Dreambox! I can't believe how much stuff can fit in this box. I love my sewing chair and my cottage. Spending time sewing is one of my very favorite things. And I do think its because I enjoy my space.

This is where I do most of my sewing. I have it all set up in a U shape so I have everything in my reach. Everything in my cottage are happy memories. Like these chairs. They were my dining room chairs and I just love them. My cottage was made by my husband which makes it special all together. The tables I sew on my husband made from old sewing machine bases.I have gift from sewing friends and thing from my whole life. So my space is fun for me to be in. I think everyone deserves such a space.

My space can get messy which I know that is very odd for a quilter, but I love my space.

So quilters are just starting out and sewing is done at the kitchen table. It doesn't matter where your space is just as long as you make it a happy place.

When I sewed at the table I always had my favorite pincushion, a cute sewing machine cover that also was a sewing mat and a Comfy chair. Surround yourself with things that are special to you and fun to look at. After all the cute factor goes along way.

So quilters are just starting out and sewing is done at the kitchen table. Remember It doesn't matter where your space is just as long as you make it a happy place.
